What is GasGrab®?
GasGrab® is a tool designed for the manual handling of gas cylinders. It makes lifting and moving heavy, awkward cylinders by hand much easier. It also significantly reduces the risk of manual handling injuries.
How Does It Work?
Raising the GasGrab® handles together clamps it securely onto your cylinder, allowing you to lift it in one smooth motion. Once you reach your destination, simply lower the handles to release the grip.
Which Size GasGrab® Do I Need?
The size refers to the diameter of the cylinder it is designed to lift. The easiest way to determine your cylinder’s diameter is to refer to the manufacturer’s documentation.
Alternatively, measure the circumference at three different points along the cylinder. Take the average of these measurements and divide by 3.14159 to calculate the diameter.
What Weight Can a GasGrab® Carry?
Two-handled models have a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 100kg.
Most cylinders weigh less than these WLLs, but always check your cylinder’s total weight before use. All GasGrab® products are tested with a 3x safety margin.
